MARS Scientists exploring Mars and analyzing Martian meteorite samples have found organic compounds essential for life: nitrogen-bearing organics in a 4-billion-year-old Martian meteorite. With a new high-spatial resolution in-situ N-chemical speciation technique, they found organic materials -- either synthesized locally or delivered during the Noachian -- preserved intact in carbonate minerals over a long geological period. Mangalyaan-2 Mars Orbiter Mission 2  ( MOM 2 ), also called  Mangalyaan-2  ("Mars-craft", from  Sanskrit :  मंगल   mangal , "Mars" and यान  yān , "craft, vehicle"), is  India 's second interplanetary mission planned for launch to  Mars  by the  Indian Space Research Organisation  (ISRO). As per some reports emerged, the mission was to be an orbiter to Mars proposed for 2024. [5]  However, in a recorded interview in October 2019,  VSSC  director has indicated the inclusion of a lander and rover. [1]  The orbiter will use  aerobraking  to lower its initial  apoapsis  and enter into an orbit more suitable for observations. ISRO's Chandrayaan 3: The next phase of India’s ambitious Moon mission — Chandrayaan-3, is scheduled for take-off by end of 2021, very much in the true spirit of the Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) ever-progressive space endeavours . The engineering corrections to overcome all possible causes of hard landing experienced by Chandrayaan-2’s lander Vikram shall surely be the basis of re-design and building a fail-safe system. Chandrayaan-2’s ‘15 minutes of terrifying time’ shall be the main focus of technical work pertaining to Vikram-2 ofChandrayaan-3 mission. The first manned mission of India to space ‘Gaganyaan’ is likely to take place around the year 2022. Gaganyaan space mission: For the development of indigenous technologies for sustained Indian human space programme as well as for space exploration, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has recently invited proposals.  The proposals have been sought by the Directorate of Human Space Programme of the Bangalore-headquartered ISRO for a total of 18 tentative technology development areas.
